WHO IT IS FOR

For families who want to homeschool, and want help doing it well.

Trellis families come from all kinds of places. Most of them land in one of these three.

01

You use another curriculum

You picked a program and you’re working through it, but you’re on your own when a lesson falls flat or your child pushes back. Trellis gives you experts to talk it through with and live classes that give your kids more than a workbook can.

02

You’re doing your own thing

You built your own plan, or you’re part of a pod, co-op or hybrid program. You know what you want to teach, and you’d love people with real experience to bounce ideas off, plus other families who get it.

03

You just left public school

School taught your child their limits. Maybe they got labeled the troublemaker, or they stopped loving to learn. You pulled them out to get their spark back, and now you’re figuring out what comes next. Trellis walks with you through that first year, so you aren’t doing it alone.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Parent educator calls every other week, moderated by homeschool experts

  • Guest speakers on parent calls, like occupational therapists, behavior specialists, health and wellness practitioners, parenting experts and more

  • Weekly live classes where your kids learn and connect with children from around the world

  • Discounted 1:1 teacher sessions

  • Ask-anything support by email, text or voice note, for the questions that can’t wait for a call

  • The Trellis Village, a large and growing community of homeschool families who lean on each other

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO US

Whatever is hard this week, bring it to us.

Trellis is where you go when something in your homeschool isn’t working. Send it by text, voice note or email, or bring it to the next parent call.

  • A lesson that fell flat, and how to teach it differently tomorrow

  • Building a schedule for the day, the week or the month that your family can actually keep

  • Sleep trouble, ADHD, sensory needs and other neurodivergent learning differences

  • Meltdowns, defiance and behavior that’s wearing everyone down

  • A child who shut down in public school and needs their spark back

  • Choosing curriculum, mixing programs, or figuring out what to drop

  • Teaching more than one age at once

  • Your own burnout, and how to keep going

No question is too small, and you never have to wait for a call to ask it. Send a question any day by email, text or voice note, and we answer within one business day.

THE REAL VALUE

What this support costs anywhere else.

An hour with an occupational therapist, a behavior specialist, a health and wellness practitioner or a homeschool consultant runs $150 to $300. Most families can’t book that every time something comes up, so they wait, guess, or search for answers at 11pm. Trellis gives you that expertise all year long, every other week on parent calls and any day by text or voice note, for less than the cost of one appointment a month.

On your own

  • Behavior specialist: $200 to $300 an hour

  • Occupational therapist: $200 to $300 an hour

  • Health and wellness practitioner: $200 to $300 an hour

  • Homeschool consultant: $150 to $300 an hour

  • One session with each: $750 to $1,200

With Trellis

All of it, all year, starting at $25 a month.

It takes a village.

Homeschooling gets lonely fast. You’re the teacher, the principal, the counselor and the parent, usually all before lunch. When your kid melts down over math, or the schedule falls apart, or you’re not sure if they’re behind, send us a text or voice note and get an answer from someone who does this for a living. You’ll also join the Trellis Village, a growing community of families who trade what works and have your back on the hard days. Every Trellis membership includes it, starting at $25 a month, about ten minutes of a specialist’s time.

The first 20 families who join Trellis keep their founding price for as long as they stay members. We’re keeping this first group small so we can get to know every family and shape Trellis around what you actually need.

YOUR TEAM

The teachers behind Trellis.

Trellis is run by the same educators who teach Origins families every week. Between them they’ve spent decades with kids, in classrooms, in nature and at kitchen tables.

QUESTIONS

What families ask about Trellis.

Do we need to use Origins Curriculum?

No. Trellis works with any curriculum, your own plan, a pod or co-op, or a mix. If you ever want curriculum too, we can talk about that, but it’s never required.

Can I ask about ADHD, sleep or behavior?

Yes, that’s what we’re here for. Bring it by text, voice note or email any time, or bring it to a parent call where our guest specialists can weigh in. We answer within one business day. When something needs a professional evaluation, we’ll help you figure out what kind of support to look for.

What is the Trellis Village?

It’s our community of Trellis homeschool families. It’s where you ask questions, share what’s working, find other families at the same stage, and get answers from our team. Every Trellis tier includes it.

What ages is Trellis for?

Trellis is for families with kids from preschool through middle school.

How is Trellis different from Bloom?

Trellis is support only, and you bring your own curriculum. Bloom is our full-service program: the Origins curriculum printed and shipped to your door every month, a custom learning plan for each child, and everything in Trellis.

What if we can’t make a live call?

Live classes and parent calls are recorded, so you can watch the replay when it works for your family.

Can I cancel or change tiers?

Trellis is month to month. You can move up, move down or cancel any time. Founding members keep their founding price as long as they stay.
